The best dates for your own Boca holiday party
Big city nights fill roads and parking, and your guests may already have plans. These dates usually work better:
- Sunday, November 22: the day after the tree lighting. Great for a neighborhood "kickoff" party.
- Thanksgiving week, November 23–27: Palm Beach County public schools are closed all week, so kids are free for a daytime game party.
- Weekends of December 12–13 and 19–20: the last weekends before winter break, which starts Monday, December 21.
- Skip Wednesday, December 2 if your party is near downtown, because of the parade.
Holding your party in November? Book by November 8, 2026 for an event from November 11 to 30 with a party package or one of our own games, and get one free popcorn or cotton candy machine with 50 servings ($350 minimum, one per booking, our own machines, subject to availability). Mention SNACK BONUS when you book.
Having a party at a Boca Raton park? Know the rules
Boca's city parks are a popular spot for holiday parties. Here is what the city lists for Patch Reef Park Pavilion 1, one of the most-booked pavilions:
- Bounce houses are permitted at this pavilion.
- Hiring an outside vendor (like a rental company) means you need a Special Event Permit. Call the Boca Raton Community Center at 561-393-7807.
- Reservations open 90 days before your date. The pavilion is $75 for Palm Beach County residents and $150 for non-residents.
- Not allowed: balloons and confetti, alcohol, Styrofoam, drones and propane.
- The pavilion has an electrical outlet, which helps with games that need power.
Rules are different at each pavilion, so check the page for the park you want on myboca.us. A backyard, clubhouse or HOA common area is often easier. See our Boca Raton party rentals page for what we bring.
Our holiday games for Boca parties
These are Crazy Games FL's own holiday games. Prices are the "from" prices on each rental page. Every game comes with professional setup and pickup, and adult supervision is required.
- Reindeer Hop Race (from $299, ages 4+): kids bounce on reindeer hoppers to the finish line. Works on grass or an indoor hard floor, not on concrete.
- Candy Cane Run (from $399, ages 4+): teams race with giant candy canes.
- Giant Ornament & Spoon Race (from $299, ages 6+): a holiday twist on the egg-and-spoon race, tables included.
- Snowball Fight (from $349, ages 4+): soft "snowballs," no cold weather needed.
- Milk & Cookie Toss (from $399, ages 4+): a toss game that works indoors too.
Add a Christmas Elf character (from $180) for photos and games, and treats like the popcorn machine (from $199) or cotton candy machine (from $199). Example: Reindeer Hop + Ornament Race + Candy Cane Run + popcorn = $1,196 before tax. See all of them on our holiday party games page.
Plan your party in 5 steps
- Pick a date that skips the big city nights (see the list above).
- Book your spot. For a city park, reserve the pavilion and ask about the Special Event Permit. For an HOA, check the clubhouse rules.
- Choose 3 or 4 games so kids rotate and nobody waits long.
- Plan power and space. Find an outlet close to the setup spot, or add a generator.
- Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead. December weekends go first.
