02 November 2026 - Wellington Holiday Party Guide 2026: Which Parks Allow Bounce Houses, Pavilion Prices and Parade Dates

Yes, you can have a bounce house at a Wellington park, but only at Village Park (Pavilions 1, 2 and 3) or at Pavilion 3 at Tiger Shark Cove. The rental company has to bring a generator and file its insurance certificate with Wellington Parks and Recreation before your party. Below you'll find the pavilion prices, how far ahead you can book, the 2026 holiday dates to plan around (the Holiday Boat Parade is Saturday, Dec. 12, and the Holiday Parade is Sunday, Dec. 13), and the Crazy Games FL games that fit a Wellington park or backyard.

Which Wellington parks allow bounce houses?

The Village of Wellington rents pavilions at two parks, and the pavilion rentals page and its FAQ spell out where an inflatable can go:

  • Village Park (11700 Pierson Road): bounce houses are allowed at all three rental pavilions. Pavilion 1 is by the covered roller hockey rink, Pavilion 2 is by the skate park and Pavilion 3 (large, 12 picnic tables) is to the right of the playground.
  • Tiger Shark Cove (13800 Greenbriar Boulevard): bounce houses are allowed only at Pavilion 3, the large one next to the playground and restrooms. Pavilions 1 and 2 there do not allow bounce houses or inflatables.

Other neighborhood park pavilions are first come, first served, so plan your bounce house at one of the pavilions above.

What does a Wellington pavilion cost?

Prices include sales tax:

  • Small pavilion: $53 for a half day, $106 for a full day
  • Large pavilion: $80 for a half day, $160 for a full day

A half day is 8 AM to noon or 1 to 5 PM, and a full day is 8 AM to 5 PM. You only need to rent for Saturday or Sunday; Monday through Friday the pavilions are free, first come, first served. You don't have to live in Wellington to book. Reservations open up to 60 days ahead online (CivicRec) or at the Village Park gym front desk. If your date is less than 7 days away, you book in person at Village Park. One more thing: the Village does not give refunds for bad weather on the day, so have a rain plan.

The bounce house rules, in plain words

  • Bring a generator. Wellington pavilions have no electricity or water, and the Village says the rental company must supply the generator. Our generator rental starts at $175.
  • Insurance on file first. The rental company's certificate of liability insurance must be on file with Wellington Parks and Recreation before your rental date. Tell us your park and pavilion, and we send ours.
  • Other vendors need approval. Food trucks, a face painter or other vendors must be approved ahead of time by the Athletic Programs Manager (561-791-4741).
  • Questions? Wellington Parks and Recreation is at 561-791-4005, and the Village Park front desk helps on weekends.

Wellington holiday dates to plan around in 2026

  • No school days: Palm Beach County schools are closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). Thanksgiving break runs Nov. 23–27, and winter break runs Dec. 21 to Jan. 1. Weekday pavilions are free on these days, first come, first served.
  • Holiday Light Displays: all December along the Town Center Promenade behind the Wellington Community Center (12150 Forest Hill Boulevard).
  • Holiday Boat Parade: Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, 6:30–8 PM. About 40 decorated boats "light up the lake" on Lake Wellington, with food trucks and holiday market vendors. It's free; bring your own chairs (wellingtonfl.gov).
  • 42nd Annual Wellington Holiday Parade: Sunday, Dec. 13, 2026, at 1:30 PM along Forest Hill Boulevard, from Wellington Trace to Ken Adams Way. Free to attend (wellingtonfl.gov).

Forest Hill Boulevard will be busy that weekend, so a Saturday morning pavilion party on Dec. 12, or a party the weekend before or after, is easier for guests. Because pavilions open 60 days ahead, December weekends are already open for booking now. More events are in our Palm Beach County holiday events guide.

Holiday games that fit a Wellington pavilion lawn

All of our holiday games belong to Crazy Games FL, and none of them need power:

Want a bounce house too? The Player One bounce house (from $449) is 14 x 22 x 16 ft and needs about 19 x 26 ft of flat space plus the generator. Add a popcorn machine or cotton candy machine (from $199 each); they run on the same generator and must stay dry.

Our Holiday Party Pack

For 25–50 guests, the Holiday Party Pack is $1,300: Player One bounce house, Reindeer Hop Race, Giant Ornament & Spoon Race, plus popcorn and cotton candy (50 servings each) for 3 hours. For 50–100 guests, the Crazy Holiday Fest is $1,500: Snowball Fight, Candy Cane Run, Milk & Cookie Toss, popcorn and cotton candy (50 each), a Game Master to run it, and a 1-hour visit from our Christmas Elf. Terms: events Nov. 1–Dec. 31, 2026, book by Dec. 23; one holiday pack per day (we own one of each game), first come, first served; $350 minimum; generator $175 if there's no outlet (Wellington pavilions have none); not combined with other offers. Say "Holiday Pack" when you call. Not sure which fits? Read Holiday Party Pack or build your own.

Partying at home in Wellington?

A backyard party skips the pavilion booking and the weekend fee. Many Wellington homes have room for a bounce house and a race lane. Measure first with our yard-size guide, and check your HOA's rules about inflatables, setup times and noise before party day.

Plan a Wellington park party in 5 steps

  1. Pick your date and look out for the parade weekend (Dec. 12–13).
  2. Reserve a pavilion that allows bounce houses: Village Park 1, 2 or 3, or Tiger Shark Cove 3.
  3. Book your games with us and tell us the park and pavilion number.
  4. We send our insurance certificate to Wellington Parks and Recreation before the date.
  5. Add a generator, because Wellington pavilions have no power.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a bounce house at Village Park in Wellington?

Yes. All three rental pavilions at Village Park allow a bounce house, as long as the rental company brings a generator and has its insurance certificate on file with the Village before your date.

Are bounce houses allowed at Tiger Shark Cove?

Only at Pavilion 3, the large pavilion next to the playground. Pavilions 1 and 2 don't allow inflatables.

How much is a pavilion in Wellington?

$53 (half day) or $106 (full day) for a small pavilion, and $80 or $160 for a large one, tax included. Weekday use is free, first come, first served.

When is the Wellington Holiday Boat Parade in 2026?

Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 6:30 to 8 PM, viewed from the Town Center Promenade at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard. The Holiday Parade follows on Sunday, December 13, at 1:30 PM.

Do you deliver to Wellington?
