Yes, you can have a bounce house at most Palm Beach County parks, but only with a pavilion reservation and a rental company the park approves. Each city sets its own rules: some allow inflatables at only one park, some cap the size, and almost all ask for the vendor's insurance and a generator. Here is a city-by-city cheat sheet for 2026, so you book the right pavilion the first time.
The 4 rules almost every park has
- Book the pavilion first. A bounce house is allowed as part of a pavilion rental, not on open grass by itself.
- Use an approved vendor. The park wants the rental company's certificate of insurance on file before the party. Many cities ask to be named on it.
- Bring power. Most park pavilions have no outlet you can count on, so the rental company brings a generator.
- Keep it dry. Water slides, slip and slides, dunk tanks and rides are banned at county parks and at most city parks.
Palm Beach County parks (John Prince, Okeeheelee and more)
The big county parks are run by Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation. Their pavilion rental page says:
- A permit is required for a group pavilion. Book up to 90 days ahead online or through Parks Customer Service at 561-966-6611.
- Pavilions are $55 + tax on weekdays and $155 + tax on weekends and holidays (more at John Prince Park's Eric Call Pavilion).
- Bounce houses and inflatables up to 30 feet tall are allowed. Every vendor must be listed on your pavilion permit.
- If the bounce house sits outside the pavilion footprint, there's a $25 vendor impact fee, plus $15 for each extra vendor.
- No water slides, dunk tanks, mechanical rides or anything with running water, and nothing may be pushed into the ground.
Jupiter families take note: the Town of Jupiter doesn't rent picnic pavilions. Those bookings go through the county, and the Jupiter Civic Center doesn't allow renters to bring their own bounce houses.
City parks: the rules by city
- West Palm Beach: bounce houses need advance approval. The vendor sends a certificate of insurance (at least $1 million, naming the City) to the parks office and brings a generator. Pavilions at 7 city parks start at $35 + tax. DJs aren't allowed. Full West Palm Beach guide.
- Palm Beach Gardens: the City must approve every vendor. There's a $15 fee per vendor when you book the pavilion ($25 if you add one later). Every listed pavilion has room for an inflatable except Burns Road Park. Pavilions run $45–$128 depending on the day and residency.
- Wellington: bounce houses are allowed only at Village Park Pavilions 1–3 and Tiger Shark Cove Pavilion 3. The rental company needs a generator and insurance on file with Parks. Full Wellington guide.
- Royal Palm Beach: inflatables are allowed at Commons Park only, $50 per inflatable, requested in person at the Recreation Center. Max size is 18 ft wide, 32 ft long and 24 ft high.
- Boynton Beach: a pavilion reservation is required, inflatables can be up to 15 x 15 ft, and a generator is a must. They aren't allowed at Oceanfront Park. Crazy Games LLC is on the City's approved vendor list.
- Delray Beach: inflatables are allowed during pavilion rentals except at Veterans Park and Atlantic Dunes Park. Vendors must be on the City's approved list with $1 million in insurance and their own generator. No water items. Full Delray Beach guide.
Rules and fees change, so confirm with the park office when you book. We used each city's and the county's own website, checked in October and November 2026.
Which of our games fit a park?
Park rules favor dry games that stand on grass and run on a generator. These are our own:
- Player One bounce house (from $449): video game theme with a slide. It needs about 19 x 26 ft, which fits Royal Palm Beach's size cap but not Boynton Beach's 15 x 15 limit.
- 4 in 1 Sports Challenge (from $349): soccer, basketball, football and baseball targets side by side. It's great for mixed ages and big groups.
- Generator (from $175): runs inflatables where there's no outlet.
Planning a December party? The Holiday Party Pack ($1,300) bundles the Player One bounce house, Reindeer Hop Race, Giant Ornament & Spoon Race, and popcorn and cotton candy (50 servings each), with our crew delivering, setting up and picking up. It runs 3 hours for 25–50 guests. Book by Dec. 23 for events through Dec. 31. It's one holiday pack per day, first come, first served. Add the $175 generator if there's no outlet, and say "Holiday Pack" when you book.
Your 5-step park party checklist
- Pick the park from the list above and check the inflatable rule for that exact pavilion.
- Reserve the pavilion as early as the park allows: 90 days ahead at county parks, 60 days in Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens.
- Book your games and tell us the park and pavilion name, so we plan the size, the generator and how we anchor without stakes.
- Send the vendor paperwork. Ask the park what it needs (insurance certificate, vendor form) and we'll email our certificate of insurance.
- Plan the timing. Leave time for setup before guests arrive and pickup before the park closes.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a permit for a bounce house at a park in Palm Beach County?
You need a pavilion reservation, and the bounce house company has to be on that permit or approved by the park. At county parks, every vendor must be listed on the pavilion permit.
Can I bring a water slide to a county park?
No. Palm Beach County parks don't allow water slides, slip and slides, pools or dunk tanks. Most city parks have the same rule, so pick dry games for park parties.
Is there power at park pavilions?
Usually not one you can count on. West Palm Beach, Wellington, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach all ask the rental company to bring a generator. Ours is $175.
Do you deliver to my park?
We serve Palm Beach, Martin, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Delivery, setup and pickup are free within 15 miles of West Palm Beach. Farther out, a delivery fee applies and shows before you pay. See all areas we serve.
